Position Overview

JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility is to ensure that the medical staff, nursing personnel, support teams, patients, and visitors have access to a sufficient supply of clean and functional linens promptly, while maintaining a visibly clean and sanitized environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

CORE COMPETENCIES:
  • Conduct daily cleaning of patient rooms, discharge areas, examination rooms, and utility spaces.
  • Manage the removal of waste and soiled linens, as well as the distribution of clean linens throughout the facility.
  • Perform cleaning duties in corridors, stairwells, and other designated areas.
  • Prepare meeting rooms for various functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute daily cleaning tasks in patient rooms, discharge areas, examination rooms, and utility spaces.
  • Oversee waste disposal and soiled linen removal across the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness in corridors, stairwells, and other common areas.
  • Set up meeting spaces for different events and distribute clean linens throughout the facility.
EXPECTED BEHAVIORS:
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Enjoyment in collaborating with others and providing service to customers.
  • Capability to work in environments where blood and bodily fluid spills may occur.
  • Ability to demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, including the use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment after receiving training.
  • Physical requirements include: standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs, twisting, bending, reaching, lifting approximately 25 pounds, carrying approximately 20 pounds, pushing approximately 250 pounds, and possessing good manual dexterity.
Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Training in Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Corporate Compliance, Confidentiality, and Infection Control is required as per regulatory and accreditation standards.
