Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a leading hospital in Illinois. In this role, you will conduct nuclear medicine procedures under the direction of a radiologist while independently managing technical aspects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners to capture high-quality images.
- Position patients properly and ensure their comfort during procedures.
- Follow protocols to produce accurate patient records and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
- Completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine program with an associated certificate or degree.
- One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
- IEMA License in Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT(NM) or NMTCB registry required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
