Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our imaging department. The ideal candidate will have experience in nuclear medicine and a strong background in PET (Positron Emission Tomography) procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nuclear medicine technologies and procedures, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Program
  • NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
  • Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET experience
  • Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Exemption: CHCO allows medical and religious exemption requests for the season
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior travel experience
  • Experience working with pediatric population
