Job Title: Transportation Associate I

HouseSmart Construction is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Transportation Associate I to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will work closely with CDL drivers and the Transportation Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of manufactured homes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently demonstrate safe driving practices to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of customers' dream homes.
  • Assist leadership in developing strategies to move and set homes, including identifying the best routes and navigating obstacles.
  • Quickly and safely assist with site preparation, including trimming trees, moving obstacles, and identifying potential issues.
  • Develop expertise in operating jobsite equipment, including the house tug, jade, and platypus.
  • Make a family's dream come true by delivering their home safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • A clean driving record with minimal to no driving infractions.
  • The ability to climb ladders, crawl underneath homes, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to and interest in obtaining a Class F endorsement and a DOT medical card.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work as a team player.
  • Experience operating various machines and the ability to quickly learn new equipment.
