As an Area Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role within our Maintenance and Reliability Hub Team, delivering technical guidance and expertise to ensure the seamless functioning of our plants.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance assistance across various gas facilities, managing a variety of instrumentation apparatus.
  • Facilitate daily operational activities and engage in enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist in the upkeep and creation of documentation for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Support technicians in diagnosing instrumentation challenges and driving essential maintenance efforts.
  • Oversee instrumentation maintenance projects and manage contractors to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and assist in certification processes for Instrumentation Technicians.

Essential Skills:

  • Exhibit strong leadership in safety practices.
  • Self-driven with the capability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Exceptional technical and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in PLC/DCS systems, I/O devices, and various instrumentation tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting plant process instrumentation and control valves.
  • Adept at identifying and resolving control loop challenges efficiently.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in operational and engineering roles involving electrical and instrumentation systems.
