Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Church & Dwight. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest level of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Quality: Promote a safety culture and safety awareness within the manufacturing area, ensuring compliance with all plant safety policies and procedures.
- Operational Excellence: Direct shift activities and processes to meet customer needs, analyzing operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Leadership and Communication: Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Employee Development: Manage cross-training and development of staff, ensuring a deep and flexible workforce.
- Administrative Tasks: Ensure accurate and timely capture of employee time records, initiate and process corrective actions, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years of supervisory experience required, with previous experience in supply chain, distribution, or materials management in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite.
