Join Our Team as a Nuclear Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our team at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a leading academic medical center, we offer a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters innovation and excellence in patient care, education, and research.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of clinicians, researchers, and educators who are passionate about advancing the field of nuclear medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our academic programs, participate in research studies, and provide high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and interpret examinations, including general nuclear medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and PET/MR
  • Conduct therapy patient consultation visits
  • Develop and implement theranostic programs, including Iodine-131, Radium-223, and 177Lu therapies
  • Provide consultation to referring physicians
  • Participate in academic programs, including the ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency program and the Advanced Molecular Imaging and Therapy fellowship program
  • Contribute to research studies and publications
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
  • Completed a minimum of 1 year of fellowship training in nuclear medicine
  • Board certified or eligible in nuclear medicine (ABNM or ABR)
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
