Columbia Gorge Education Service District is seeking a highly qualified Bilingual Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide mental health consultation to early childhood care and education providers, focusing on promoting healthy social-emotional development in infants and young children.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide relationship-based interventions to promote mental health and address behaviors that put infants and young children at risk of suspension or expulsion.
- Support ongoing communication with providers and caregivers about early relational health and developmental concerns.
- Develop written intervention strategies and work collaboratively with providers to implement strategies that promote optimal social-emotional development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to equity, anti-bias, and anti-racist practices, and be fluent in both English and Spanish. A master's degree in mental health or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
