Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team of production employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop production employees to achieve established goals of safety, environmental performance, production volume, quality, service, and cost.
  • Ensure production employees are properly oriented and trained.
  • Review, analyze and make recommendations regarding safety, environmental performance, quality, expenses, and productivity.
  • Plan and organize staff shift schedules and tasks.
  • Report plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians.
  • Monitor quality control.
  • Conduct monthly internal self-audits.
  • Conduct monthly training seminars (GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs).
  • Production record keeping (conventional and Organic).
  • Support federal and state audits.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory position at a factory.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, SQF systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate all levels of personnel.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety.
  • Spanish bilingual.
  • English Level Proficient (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
