Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a diverse range of high-quality activities and events that promote resident engagement and participation.
  • Lead and facilitate activities personally, encouraging residents to take part in all scheduled programs and excursions.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all participants, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere by working closely with colleagues and other departments.
  • Operate community vehicles as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possession of a current Class C license; Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in organizing activities and assessing resident needs.
  • Preferred experience in supervising staff and volunteers.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Proficient in using a personal computer and familiar with MS Office applications.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background check and Health Screening, including physical and TB tests.
  • Compliance with health and safety protocols, including vaccination and PPE requirements, as mandated.
