Your Role:

As a Distribution Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and regulate inventory levels. You will ensure timely delivery of products to clients across the United States, maintaining an up-to-date inventory to facilitate prompt order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels for distributors and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with buyers and distributors to ensure a smooth and timely product flow to retail locations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and distributors for new orders, daily shipments, and product introductions.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to verify billing accuracy, approve invoices, and issue credits as necessary.
  • Assist Procurement in confirming the accuracy of incoming shipments and quantities received.
  • Quickly resolve issues related to stock shortages, delays, and incorrect shipments.
  • Coordinate the delivery of product samples.
  • Monitor international shipping activities.
  • Consolidate domestic shipments effectively.
  • Work with buyers to develop new programs and expand Misa's product offerings.
  • Manage distributor-related tasks, including item setup, pricing, purchase order coordination, compliance, and delivery logistics.
  • Coordinate booking and shipping processes.
  • Document and communicate inventory metrics.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to reorganize and reroute shipments to meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate reconciliation of distributor invoices.
  • Engage with distributors to identify opportunities for margin reduction to provide competitive pricing.
  • Promote sales opportunities within the wine sector.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in the Wine & Spirits industry is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in account management.
