Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist I to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a CT Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing routine CT exams, educating patients and families about these exams, and providing instructions relating to these exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine CT exams in the department under the direction of the technical supervisor and medical director.
  • Educate patients and families about CT exams and provide instructions relating to these exams.
  • Perform service recovery as appropriate.
  • Participate in the continuous quality improvement process.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • One year of CT experience required, but department may cross-train for advancement within the organization.
  • Hospital-based technologists must complete two units of mandatory stroke-specific training/education annually.
  • State of California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License & Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • AHA BLS Certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologist Technologist (ARRT) Radiology & CT certifications.
