Position Overview

The Nutrition Assistant role at MultiCare involves working closely with the Nutrition Services team. Your main duty will be to guarantee that patients, families, and visitors receive outstanding nutritional care experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with Nursing staff, Physicians, Dietitians, and other team members to provide the best nutrition care
  • Carry out various tasks including meal preparation, menu adjustments, and ensuring tray accuracy
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse clientele, reflecting the organization's core values

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A two-year degree in Nutrition is preferred
  • Must possess a valid Washington State Food Handlers Card
  • Minimum of one year of experience in food service is required
  • Experience in a direct patient care environment is preferred
  • Customer service experience of at least six months is beneficial
