Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the parts sales process from initiation to completion
  • Keep customers updated on parts availability
  • Engage with both staff and customers in a polite and professional manner
  • Effectively utilize the parts catalog for part inquiries
  • Handle incoming calls, providing price estimates and relevant information
  • Verify body shop estimates for accuracy and pricing
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Notify the parts manager of any out-of-stock items or urgently needed supplies
  • Source out-of-stock parts externally and place emergency orders as needed
  • Ensure accurate billing of parts on service repair orders
  • Process payments from retail customers or obtain credit approval
  • Arrange orders for daily shipping, delivery, or pick-up

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in auto parts sales is preferred
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting various documents and manuals
  • Ability to perform calculations for figures, discounts, and proportions
