Position Overview:

As the Lead Pharmacy Operations Manager at Kroger Health, you will play a vital role in supervising all facets of pharmacy operations while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set an example as a staff pharmacist and optimize workflow to minimize customer wait times.
  • Drive sales initiatives and manage pharmacy sales strategies effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company standards as a licensed pharmacist.
  • Enhance inventory management and warehouse efficiency.
  • Guarantee adherence to controlled substance protocols.
  • Effectively manage third-party insurance matters.
  • Control labor expenses through strategic staff scheduling.
  • Achieve budget objectives and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
  • Collaborate with local healthcare providers and support community health initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Travel as necessary for business support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent from the Board of Pharmacy.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail pharmacy.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Expertise in prescription interpretation and report generation.
  • Dedication to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing education and training.
  • Previous pharmacy board certifications are advantageous.
  • Background in business management is a plus.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Required

Travel Requirement: Up to 25%
