Master Lineman Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Lineman Specialist to join our team at Tipmont Wintek. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and economical supply of present and future electrical service needs of our members.

• Instruct Apprentice Linemen in various phases of their training, developing their skills and expertise.
• Familiarize yourself with cooperative procedures and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to remain a competent craftsman, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
• Supervise the work of others, making decisions in conformity with established policies and procedures.

• Plan daily work activities by reviewing job details, maps, and other relevant documents to ensure timely completion.
• Hold comprehensive knowledge of line work, including construction, operation, and maintenance of our electrical distribution and transmission systems.

• You will be part of our standby rotation list, responding to outages and emergencies as needed, working closely with colleagues from various departments.

• Conduct thorough safety briefings prior to starting projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely work completion.
• Work in compliance with established Rural Utilities Service (RUS) guidelines, federal regulations, National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements, state code regulations, and cooperative designing and staking specifications.

• Must be a certified Journeyman Lineman with a valid driver's license and Class A CDL.
• Ability to use personal computers, office equipment, and operate a two-way radio.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with excellent English language proficiency.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
