Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, collaborating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying patient strengths and areas for growth, and developing targeted interventions to promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Document patient progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records to inform treatment decisions and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training, staying current with best practices and research in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the state of employment.
- Experience working in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting, with a focus on providing individual and group therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
