We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. As a Mental Health Worker, you will work directly with youth in our program, providing supervised therapeutic services to help them achieve their treatment goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality supervision, care, and treatment for youth, including planning direct care and recreational activities.
- Establish a positive therapeutic relationship with youth and collaborate with them on individual treatment goals.
- Implement established treatment modalities and participate in the development, implementation, and updating of individual treatment, management, and discharge plans.
- Supervise family visits and monitor youth in all activities and situations.
- Communicate effectively with youth, their families, and other members of the treatment team to facilitate treatment and support plans.
- Criminal and child abuse clearance as required by the State of Montana.
- Ability to empathize with youth experiencing mental health challenges and provide compassionate care.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
