Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Information Technology Specialist to join our team at THRIVE Wellness & Recovery Inc. The successful candidate will provide technical support for our electronic health record system, ensuring seamless operations and optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of our health information technology systems to provide ongoing support for all agency end users.
  • Work closely with end users to identify business or clinical needs, helping them to build user reports and/or educating users on retrieving information using available resources.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to determine clinical functions suitable for HIT enhancements and ensure systems are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice.
  • Interpret clinical processes and tasks, converting them into system processes by leveraging technology to support operations and collect data for decision making.
  • Set up and train new users of the EHR, manage licenses, and stay up-to-date with various program applications and their capabilities.

For this role, you should have a strong understanding of health information technology systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams.
