Medical Office LPN-Primary Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT in New Canaan, CT. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing primary medical care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering medical history, vital signs, and other necessary information.
- Assist physicians and physician assistants with patient exams, vaccinations, and medications.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by medical staff.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide test results, relay physician instructions, and offer support.
- Perform organizational tasks to achieve practice goals and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Meet meaningful use requirements and adhere to compliance standards.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- BLS certification and vaccine administration skills.
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
- Successful completion of medical scribing within probationary period.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary range of $26.57 - $41.32 per hour. We offer a pleasant working environment with opportunities for growth and development.
