About the Role

This is a PRN position (.2 FTE) working day shifts in an outpatient setting. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will perform patient care and complete documentation in a timely manner and within insurance guidelines. You will demonstrate critical thinking skills and reasoning processes in carrying out the plan of care, ensuring that patient charges and productivity reports are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Current licensure in the state of Alabama
  • New graduate accepted; experienced outpatient therapy assistant preferred

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
