Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States Reliable Heating & Air Full time

At Reliable Heating & Air, we're seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential plumbing mechanisms while providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages
  • Install, maintain, and repair residential plumbing systems, including water heaters and gas lines
  • Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
  • Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems the company installs and maintains
  • Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers
  • Establish and foster client relationships through strong communication and customer service, providing the ability to fully explain to customers what the issues are and their options for repair (when applicable)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a residential Service Plumber
  • Valid Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumbing License required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Results driven in a high-energy environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record
  • Must be able to follow directions and work independently
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English

Physical Demands:

  • Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching (including overhead), climbing ladders/stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Work in varying temperatures, including non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures

Work Environment:

  • Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment
  • Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises

Schedule:

  • Must be available to work nights and weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers

Visual Abilities:

  • Must be able to correctly differentiate between colors

Other:

  • Must be proficient in the use of smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices
