Job Title: Social Service Program Coordinator

Join the Georgia Department of Public Health team as a Social Service Program Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in planning, managing, and evaluating social services programs. As a key member of our team, you will administer and coordinate services and program activities in dependency, mental illness, youth development, or physical or developmental disability programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social services programs to meet community needs and prevent duplication of services.
  • Evaluate the provision and quality of recommended services to ensure compliance with program requirements and policies.
  • Guide and oversee the distribution of resources to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Identify and/or manage grants, contracts, and other facets associated with the programs.
  • Implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate social services programs to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience providing case management services.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in case management, outreach, client assessment, counseling, or the development/implementation of treatment, rehabilitation, or service plans.
