We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our team at Meridian Behavioral Health. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient intake process for our clients. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify client funding and monitor wait lists
- Schedule evaluations and arrange transportation as needed
- Oversee paper flow to Accounting and determine client financial responsibility
- Perform data entry and maintain daily census logs
- Attend staff in-services and meetings
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility and 2-3 years related experience required
- Must know and understand all rules, regulations, and requirements of the assigned program
- A minimum of two-year freedom from chemical abuse problems
- Possess a valid driver's license
- CPR and first aid certified
