Nurse Practitioner

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, starting at 30 hours per week, with the possibility of floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends. You will be empowered to provide holistic patient care to your community with support, guidance, collaboration, and a "one store, one team mindset."
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
- Administer vaccine injections
- Assess patients during intake
- Take vital signs
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
- Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities
Requirements
- Experience with documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, performing point of care testing, and care coordination
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system such as Epic
- Full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
- Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, or Registered Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant
