The RoleAs a Senior Vice President, Data Scientist, you will be part of our Business Intelligence team and contribute to advanced data analyses, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms for client behavior prediction, securities performance, risk assessment, and economic data analysis.
You will gather requirements, lead analytical solutions, and execute implementations of assigned tasks independently. Additionally, you will conduct metric analysis, lead data modeling, and apply techniques such as SQL querying and automated data workflow development to extract, blend, and standardize numerous data sources.
Your responsibilities will also include formulating findings, preparing reports, developing dashboards and visualizations to deliver results to management and sales staff, providing recommendations for addressing observed outcomes, and translating complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences.
Furthermore, you will serve as a resource to colleagues unfamiliar with specialized processes or data sets, stay up-to-date with the latest data science and analytics technologies, and market trends, and partner with management to evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies.
Requirements- Advanced degree in data science or quantitative/STEM field required, PhD preferred; 3+ years' experience preferred in data science or quantitative field (inclusive of PhD work)
- Clear, concise, and effective communication skillset, able to explain complex analysis results to non-technical audience
- Experience with data workflow/ETL development tools like Alteryx, Dataiku, etc.; dashboard/visualization development tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.JS, etc.); data science/machine learning algorithms and tools (R, Python, or other development tools) required
- Provides work guidance to less experienced colleagues, but no direct reports initially; opportunity for advancement and expected to lead analytical projects of highly complex scope

Our estimated salary range for this position is $108,700-$175,000 per year at the commencement of employment, depending on individual experience and market location.
