Job Title: Staff Attorney

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Staff Attorney to join our team at Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response. As a Staff Attorney, you will provide legal assistance and representation to survivors of sexual trauma, ensuring they receive comprehensive support and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal consultations, representation, and referrals to survivors of sexual assault, addressing areas such as privacy, safety, employment, education, housing, and financial compensation.
  • Conduct safety plans with survivors, connecting them with additional services as needed.
  • Attend court, return client calls, and draft legal documents as required.
  • Participate in weekly check-in meetings to discuss new legal requests and collaborate with the team.
  • Maintain compliance with continuing legal education requirements.
  • Assist in developing grant reports as needed.
