The successful candidate will engage in projects that involve complex procurement processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field along with 6 years of professional experience; or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Expertise in all procurement phases
  • Experience in creating and managing purchase orders
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers, including prequalification and bid preparation
  • Understanding of the Uniform Commercial Code and relevant commercial laws
  • Skilled in negotiating contract terms and resolving disputes
  • Experience in managing supplier performance and claims
  • Knowledge of international procurement practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with various project teams
  • Experience in materials management and purchasing
  • Understanding of various construction materials and stock codes
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze contract requirements to develop project-specific procurement documents
  • Maintain and oversee project bidder lists, ensuring comprehensive input from all procurement functions
  • Issue and manage purchase orders effectively
  • Engage in negotiations for procurement commitments, following established guidelines
Job Summary:
This role involves reporting to Procurement Management and receiving functional guidance from the Purchasing Manager. The position requires collaboration with various project teams to ensure smooth procurement operations and to address any issues that may arise.
