About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bay Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise nursing assistants to ensure they are providing high-quality care and following facility policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Current/active CPR certification.
  • Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, with physical work being a primary part of the job.
  • Able to stand and/or walk for more than four hours per day, and bend and/or stoop for more than one hour at a time.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate between $32 and $34, with shift differentials for 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts.
  • 1.5X holiday pay and 1.5X overtime pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week.
  • Benefits package, including 401(k) and daily pay.
  • Tuition reimbursement through ECPI.
