Compensation:
$26.20 per hour

Position Summary:


The role involves executing various maintenance tasks including welding, cutting, and performing minor electrical repairs. Responsibilities also include the removal and replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, and managing water and steam piping systems within an industrial setting, all while adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and standards.


Key Responsibilities:
Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, basic electrical work, power transmission, pneumatics, plumbing, and boiler maintenance is essential.
Ability to utilize basic hand tools is required.
Basic mechanical or maintenance skills are necessary.
Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds, and climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet is expected.
Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and work in extreme temperatures and challenging conditions.
Certification to operate a forklift, skid-steer loader, and man-lift will be required.
Ability to comprehend and follow policies, procedures, and regulations is crucial.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
Qualified candidates may be contacted for an interview based on meeting the minimum requirements.
Qualifications:
Willingness to work on A, B, C, or D shifts is essential.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Previous employment with Tyson Foods is subject to a minimum waiting period of 6 months.

All job offers are contingent upon the candidate's ability to provide proof of legal work authorization in the United States and successfully pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment.
