Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking multiple Registered Nurses specialized in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to enhance operations within a prominent healthcare system. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dedicated organization committed to delivering exceptional healthcare solutions.
Position Compensation:
$112.22 per hour
Key Responsibilities
The services provided in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory will adhere to the established protocols of the healthcare system. Major responsibilities include:
- Assessing and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Administering medications and supporting the medical team as required.
- Preparing patients and surgical areas in a sterile environment, selecting necessary instruments and equipment.
- Assisting with catheter exchanges, injections, and balloon dilation procedures.
- Establishing venous access through intravenous (IV) line initiation.
- Providing care for patients utilizing invasive hemodynamic support devices, including intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) or Impella.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to influence positive care outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with individuals from diverse educational and ethnic backgrounds.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team in all assignments.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and customer service programs at the unit or program level.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state or territory of the United States.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
Physical Requirements
All candidates must be capable of:
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, and reaching overhead during the work shift.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
- Lifting up to 20 lbs and carrying up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
- Exerting a push/pull force of 30 lbs.
