Position Purpose

The Facility Technician plays a crucial role in managing equipment logistics, including loading and unloading, as well as maintaining cleanliness and compliance with inspection protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove expired slings and prepare recertification documentation at SES and client sites.
  • Install recertified slings at SES and client locations.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of all equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on equipment as necessary.
  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDE) inspections (wet magnetic, dye penetrant) on equipment pad-eyes as required.
  • Carry out visual inspections on equipment and slings in accordance with ASME B30.9 standards.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and sling change logs.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory; Class A CDL is essential.
  • Must have a clean work, driving, and criminal history.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in NDE; current NDE Level II certification is advantageous.
  • Six months of experience in rigging; current Rigging Gear and Sling Inspector Level II certification is a plus.
