Job Description

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL driver to join our team in Golden, CO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods and materials
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay: $29.00
  • Shift pay: $4.00 shift differential
  • Loyalty bonus: $1750 at 6 months, $1750 at 1 year
  • Hours per week: 40 or more
  • OT available if desired
  • Up to $1900 during peak season
  • Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off - various available
  • Start time: 9:45 PM
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
