We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, Oregon. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI procedures, integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images
  • Perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images
  • Apply ACR Guidance Document for Safe MR Practices to ensure patient, visitor, and caregiver safety
  • Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Accredited School Required: Radiologic Technology or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in MRI preferred
  • Certification and licensure to perform MRI, as well as CT and X-ray
  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy
  • Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications
