Job Title: Store Maintenance Coordinator

Citi Trends is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate store repairs and preventative maintenance agreements with vendors and contractors.
  • Update the maintenance database daily to track and report on open maintenance issues.
  • Communicate effectively with store personnel, vendors, and landlords to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Evaluate vendor bids and invoices, and manage the company's electronic work order system and billing system.
  • Liaise with corporate office management to obtain approval for higher-cost repairs.
  • Track all store maintenance issues and provide weekly reports to the Vice President of Store Operations Administration.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred.
  • General computer skills with an understanding of spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, identify problems, and resolve potential conflicts.
  • Ability to understand, monitor, and critically review contracts for facility services.
Education and Experience:

An associate degree is preferred, and/or relevant work experience is required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, department reports, and office procedures.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Other Skills:

Exceptional computer skills, Microsoft Excel skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, and the ability to perform several tasks concurrently.
