Staff Auditor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at Brunswick Corporation. As a Staff Auditor, you will play a critical role in providing value to our business units and the company as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in reviews and audits of business processes supporting operational and financial activities
• Perform and document detail tests of controls utilizing the COSO control framework and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
• Provide assistance to external auditors by performing reliance testing and direct assistance work
• Identify, evaluate, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
• Document audit results in a neat and organized manner consistent with established department standards
• Aid in preparing audit reports to concisely communicate audit results, recommendations, and management action plans
• Perform or assist with special projects and investigations as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• 1-2 years of work experience in finance and accounting functions
• Essential skills and competencies include soft skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability, as well as technical skills such as knowledge of general business systems, practices, and control techniques
