Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Research and Development Consultant for a part-time remote contract role.
This unique opportunity enables you to leverage your expertise in medical device R&D while working flexibly from anywhere.
You will be at the forefront of innovative projects addressing complex challenges in the medical technology field.
Your contributions will directly impact the success of our organization and the quality of medical solutions delivered to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of new medical device prototypes ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering clinical and regulatory to facilitate timely execution of R&D projects.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing products.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device R&D.
- Proven track record in managing product development cycles from concept through to market launch with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA ISO).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120000 - $180000 based on national averages in the United States and considering the level of experience required.

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
