ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Conduct daily accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable, executing general ledger entries, and performing bank reconciliations.
  • Generate financial statements, reports, and analyses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in line with organizational policies and accounting standards.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to address accounting discrepancies and enhance operational processes.
  • Provide support for external audits and tax submissions as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the real estate sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Yardi, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
