About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Vensure Employer Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The ER Registered Nurse will provide onsite Emergency Room Services at a Medical Facility located in Houston, TX. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing healthcare to patients who urgently need treatment, stabilizing vital signs, and limiting pain and discomfort.
  • Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness.
  • Administering medication as instructed by physicians.
  • Performing tasks such as starting intravenous lines, setting broken bones, and giving patients stitches and sutures.
  • Creating and maintaining incoming patient records.
  • Working with a team of emergency staff to help patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure in any State, Territory, Commonwealth of the U.S. or D.C.
  • BLS and/or ACLS certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Department within the past 5 years.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work 12-hour shifts and be available for weekends, holidays, evenings, and night shifts.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options.
