Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment. Your primary focus will be on radiation safety, ensuring adherence to Federal, State, and Hospital policies regarding the use and disposal of radioactive agents.

Responsibilities:
• Document daily calibrations and quality control tests for Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment, including dose calibrator accuracy checks and hot lab area surveys.
• Perform periodic quality control tests, documenting according to Hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate commitment to the CORE Values of CHRISTUS Health.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent. Additionally, you should possess at least 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting. A background in Radiology is preferred, but not mandatory. You must also hold current State licensure, BLS certification (American Heart Association), and Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB.
