Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

A highly competent imaging technologist will operate in multiple modalities within an imaging department, producing accurate diagnostic examinations and potentially interventional procedures. This role requires minimal supervision and involves performing a variety of technical procedures that demand independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet Competency Requirements: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Demonstrate competency in various diagnostic procedures across multiple modalities.
- Program the computer to ensure completion of exams and store scan data on optical discs for future reference.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures to maintain high patient care and continuity.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology required.
- Registered by ARRT (R) or other qualified registries per scope of practice.
- Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or Clinical setting preferred.
- Three years experience in clinical Imaging setting is highly preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
- Current state Licensure required.
- BLS required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
