Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Specialist. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of our retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough floor patrols to identify and apprehend individuals engaged in theft.
  • Utilize Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems effectively to monitor activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary.
  • Provide testimony in court when required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Availability for full-time work, approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Compensation: $20.00 per hour, with benefits including insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and legible reports.
  • Assertiveness in handling confrontational situations while maintaining control.
  • Trustworthiness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical.
  • Previous experience in loss prevention is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in Criminal Justice or related fields is a plus.
