Job Description

At Minnesota Women's Care, we are seeking a skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients with general OB/GYN needs.
  • Obtain detailed medical histories, review medical records, and perform thorough physical examinations.
  • Order appropriate lab work and diagnostic imaging to inform patient care.
  • Perform basic GYN procedures and respond to patient phone messages and nurse triage.
  • Interpret and communicate lab results to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a WHNP in a clinical setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Minnesota RN and women's health nurse practitioner licensures and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment.
  • Strong charting/documentation skills and commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
