Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop strategic relationships with clients to understand their complex financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Anticipate and address client needs through a wide range of financial products, services, and tools.
  • Collaborate with product specialists to recognize and understand client banking, credit, and investment needs and goals.
  • Provide exceptional client service through regular value-added engagement, including face-to-face meetings, consistent communication, and access to seminars.
  • Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio and proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships.
  • Refer opportunities to segment partners as appropriate and organize client events to enhance client bonding.
  • Acquire new clients through converting referral leads and manage client follow-up while adhering to all Regulatory and Compliance operating procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms and partner with branch team members to ensure a positive in-branch experience for all clients.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using financial planning software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and a self-starter with problem-solving skills.
  • US: Current Registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65 are required for the role, with Series 7 and 66 or equivalent encouraged to apply.
  • Insurance group 1 required, with 120 days to obtain if not already held.
  • This position requires registration as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
