Position Overview
Timmons Group is seeking a talented Civil Project Engineer II/III to enhance our Land Development Group.

Role Summary
The Civil Project Engineer II/III is a skilled engineer with a minimum of two years of professional experience. This role involves executing site development engineering and managing projects for a variety of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Candidates should possess expertise in site civil design, permitting processes, and proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The projects will encompass diverse land development site designs.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Designing project components utilizing relevant office software and Civil 3D technology.
2. Performing calculations using engineering principles and computer-based solutions.
3. Preparing specifications and material lists through thorough research and catalog reviews.
4. Completing design details and producing comprehensive plan sets.
5. Conducting research and drafting objective summary reports essential for project completion.
6. Assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
7. Conducting field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineers.
8. Communicating effectively with clients and collaborating with the internal design team.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Between two to six years of experience in land development civil engineering; EIT certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is essential.
