We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Affairs Specialist/Deputy Chief Communications Officer to join our team. This position will play a critical role in promoting the organization's mission and values through effective communication and outreach efforts.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This will include creating and disseminating press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials to promote the organization's programs and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and community leaders.
  • Plan and execute special events, such as conferences, press conferences, and community outreach events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement communication strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to ensure accurate representation of the organization's mission and values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
