Senior Clinical Specialist - Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Successfully complete CRM Field Technical Training, encompassing both online and field-based components.
- Conduct checks and interrogations of all CRM medical device systems following sign-off.
- Assist with the implantation of all CRM products post sign-off.
- Provide on-call support as required during evenings and weekends after sign-off.
- Offer troubleshooting assistance as requested.

Operational Support:
- Ensure the completion of patient registration and any necessary hospital documentation.
- Manage consignment and trunk inventory once acquired.
- Provide additional inventory assistance to meet customer demands.
- Maintain software on programmers throughout the district as directed.
- Aid in managing daily coverage logistics as necessary.

Educational Support:
- Educate and train physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel on products or solutions for which training has been completed.
- Assist in the education and training of new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-off.

Sales Support:
- Collaborate with DSM, Sales Representatives, and DM to understand market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; possess a foundational understanding of how Medtronic CRHF products and solutions provide value to customers.
- Assist in obtaining customer purchase orders throughout the quarter.
- Maintain a basic understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Independently identify customer needs and opportunities, providing feedback to Sales Representatives to support sales objectives.

Ongoing Technical Development:
- Stay informed about new products, solutions, and patient management offerings.
- Complete all assigned training promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the following basic qualifications must be evident on your resume:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of experience in an EP, Cath Lab setting, or sales/service in a cardiac device company -OR- Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the same fields -OR- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the same fields.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry.
- Proven ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across various organizational levels.
- Strong work ethic in achieving the objectives of the position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and other applications.
- Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to coordinate and participate in multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
