We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Hygienist with perio expertise to contribute to the success of our dental team at KAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth, to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings to identify potential issues early on.
  • Provide personalized education and recommendations to patients on oral hygiene techniques and at-home care.
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed to ensure patient comfort.
  • Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Maintain and update dental records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting.
  • Experience in Perio and SRP is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
  • Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols is crucial.
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and maintain detailed medical records is necessary.
