Position Overview

We are seeking an individual with a background in automotive service repair to take on the role of Service Dispatcher. This position involves overseeing and coordinating the flow of repair jobs entering the service department. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the service drive, welcoming customers upon arrival, and ensuring a smooth transition of vehicles into the shop. Experience in a dealership service environment is highly advantageous. A collaborative spirit and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign tasks to technicians effectively
  • Track and manage workflow within the service shop
  • Ensure a balanced and fair distribution of work
  • Support Service Advisors by greeting customers and informing them that assistance will be provided shortly, as well as moving vehicles from the drive to the shop
