About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Security Associate to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a Security Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, owners, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Protection: Perform periodic and random inspections of the building and grounds to protect property from theft, embezzlement, vandalism, fire, and accidents.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate all security incidents, accidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and prepare a complete report to include statements and evidence from involved parties and witnesses.
  • Guest Service: Provide outstanding guest/owner service at all times, including answering inquiries, directing traffic, providing directions, and information for general problem-solving.
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Patrol the interior and perimeter of the resort to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.
  • First Aid and CPR: Administer basic first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Security Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor all security equipment, including radios, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), master keys, and the resort's keycard system.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6+ months of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
  • Certifications: Active state of Hawaii Security Guard Card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Availability: Able to adjust to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and ability to cover shifts on short notice to meet business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hotel/Hospitality Experience: Prior experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certification: Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in the English language to communicate both verbally and in writing.
